NoteLM has no limit. You can extract all comments from any public video, whether it has 100 or 100,000 comments.

YouTube may filter spam or held comments. The visible comment count includes replies, but our count shows top-level comments separately.

Is there a time limit on extraction?

No time limit. Very popular videos with millions of comments may take longer to fully extract.

What about YouTube API limits?

We handle API quotas efficiently. For normal use, you won't encounter rate limits.

Can I extract comments from multiple videos?

Currently, NoteLM extracts one video at a time. For bulk extraction, repeat the process for each video.

Are there any videos I can't extract comments from?

Accepted Answer

Comments must be enabled and the video must be public. Private videos and videos with disabled comments won't work.

What if a video has comments disabled after I extracted?

Accepted Answer

Your export remains valid. We can't re-extract if comments are later disabled.
