All our tools — both online tools and Chrome extensions — are designed with privacy-first principles. We explicitly do NOT collect:

Online Tools
Our free online tools process data entirely in your browser:
- •YouTube Transcript Generator: Fetches transcripts directly from YouTube. The video URL you enter and the resulting transcript are processed in your browser and never stored on our servers.
- •YouTube Comment Extractor: Extracts comments via YouTube's public API. All data processing happens client-side.
- •YouTube Thumbnail Downloader: Downloads thumbnails directly from YouTube's image servers. We don't log or store the video URLs you use.
Local Storage (Chrome Extensions)
Our Chrome extensions store minimal data locally in your browser's storage (chrome.storage.local). This includes:
- •API Key (YouTube Video Summarizer only): Your Gemini API key is stored locally to make API calls. It is never transmitted to our servers.
- •Extension Settings: Preferences like theme settings are stored locally for your convenience.
This data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through Chrome's extension settings.
Third-Party Services
YouTube Video Summarizer uses Google's Gemini API to generate video summaries. When you request a summary:
- 1.Video transcript data is sent directly from your browser to Google's API
- 2.Google processes the request using your API key
- 3.The summary is returned directly to your browser
We do not act as an intermediary in this process. Please refer to Google's API Terms of Service for information on how Google handles this data.
Data Security
Since we don't collect or store your data on our servers, there's no database to breach. Your information stays on your device, under your control. The only data that leaves your browser is:
- •Video transcripts sent to Google's Gemini API (with your explicit action)
Children's Privacy
Our extensions are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this is not a concern for our services.
