2. Description of Service
NoteLM.ai provides free online tools and Chrome browser extensions that enhance your YouTube experience:
Free Online Tools
- •YouTube Transcript Generator: Extracts full transcripts with timestamps from YouTube videos.
- •YouTube Comment Extractor: Downloads all comments with replies, likes, and author info in JSON format.
- •YouTube Thumbnail Downloader: Downloads video thumbnails in multiple sizes (up to 1280×720 HD).
Chrome Extensions
- •YouTube Video Summarizer: Generates AI-powered summaries with clickable chapters using Google's Gemini API.
- •YouTube Subtitle Downloader: Downloads YouTube video subtitles in SRT format with one click.
3. User Responsibilities
By using our Extensions, you agree to:
- ✓Use the Extensions in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- ✓Respect YouTube's Terms of Service when using our Extensions
- ✓Comply with Google's API Terms of Service when using the Summarizer
- ✓Not use the Extensions for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- ✓Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extensions
4. API Keys and Third-Party Services
The YouTube Video Summarizer requires you to provide your own Google Gemini API key. By using this feature:
- •You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own API key
- •You agree to Google's terms and conditions for API usage
- •You are responsible for any costs associated with API usage beyond Google's free tier
- •You should keep your API key secure and not share it publicly
5. Intellectual Property
The Extensions, including all code, design, and content, are the intellectual property of NoteLM.ai. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extensions for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Downloaded subtitles and generated summaries are for your personal use. The original content remains the intellectual property of its respective creators.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE EXTENSIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- •The Extensions will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- •AI-generated summaries will be accurate or complete
- •The Extensions will work with all YouTube videos or browser versions
- •Any errors will be corrected within a specific timeframe
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTELM.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSIONS.
8. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extensions at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using our Extensions at any time by uninstalling them from your browser. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extensions at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NoteLM.ai operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
